The Gonzo Inn is a hotel located in Moab, Utah. The hotel is unusual for us because we stay in the chain hotels like Hilton or Choice Brands. On our trip to Moab, we decided to stay in this hotel instead. This hotel is locally owned and operated giving the hotel a unique vibe compared to other hotels in Moab. It is built in a southwesten style of architecture.
The lobby is very colorful, I would describe it as closer to a Disney resort than a regular hotel chain. To the right of the service desk there is a small gift store. If you like this hotel as much as we did you might want to buy something. To the left of the service desk is the dining area, this hotel has free breakfast available. The hotel has a great outdoor pool for getting cooled down in the afternoons and avoiding the crowds in Arches and Canyonlands. There is also a hot tub for the cooler winter months.
We slept well in the comfortable rooms with plenty of space. In each room there is a kitchenette, high speed wi-fi as well as a private balcony. I would recommend this hotel for stays that are for 3 or more nights such as with the Mighty 5 trip itinerary on our website. Each of the rooms in this hotel are unique so you could get a different experience every time you stay here. I do remember the light switches being in strange places not where you think they should be.
I would highly recommend this hotel. I give it a 10/10 and would stay here again when I return to Moab.
