Hampton Inn Chicago Majestic is located south of the Chicago River in the loop area. The hotel has easy access to the Chicago metro system as it is surrounded by stops on the trains. The hotel is also close to Millennium Park, a must see for any trip to the city. The hotel sits above a theater where the hit Broadway musical, Hamilton was performed for many years.
Hampton Inn is a brand of Hilton Hotels and falls under their rewards system. This hotel has a fitness center but no pool or hot tub. The hotel offers a free breakfast. The average price for this hotel is $119. The main attraction of this hotel is its proximity to many attractions downtown. Millennium Park, Willis Tower and the Chicago Museum of Art.
We have stayed in this hotel twice. The first time was a birthday trip that we took when I was in Middle School. We stayed in this hotel and had a great experience. The room was spacious for the two of us and the ceilings were very tall. The second time we went to this hotel was with my brother. We stayed here for its convenience to the theater so my mom and brother could see Hamilton. We slept well and the bathrooms were nice and updated. One thing to note, as with any big city, the traffic can be loud. All night there was always some big truck or honking going on outside. Even though we were higher up we could still hear the noise from the streets below.
I give this hotel a 9/10.
