Quality Inn Oacoma, South Dakota

This hotel is located right along I-90 on the west side of the Missouri River in the small town of Oacoma, South Dakota. We stopped here on the way to Rapid City as part of our December 2020 Black Hills Adventure. It was our first night and we arrived at around eleven p.m.

The person at the front desk was slow. It took more time to check in then it normally would. The woman also said that “unfortunately...” and never finished her sentence. We are not really sure what was unfortunate so we went up the stairs. There is not an elevator at this hotel so be sure to keep that in mind.

Our room was very comfortable and we slept well. The room was pretty large. Something that was strange, the tv was super small and really far from the beds. If you watch tv it would be very difficult to see. We were in this hotel for less than 12 hours before we had left. The breakfast was not very good, but it is hard to judge in the covid era.

I give this hotel a 7/10
